A beetroot is just what it looks like. Beetroots can be obtained by Planting Beetroot seeds in the soil. Of course it can be eaten. Beetroots restore 1hp but it would be better to craft beetroot soup with them to heal more hp when in a tight spot or dangerous wars have started.
